Ron Calvin "Ronnie" Grandison is a former basketball player, who attended University of California, Irvine and University of New Orleans. He was selected in the 5th round of the 1987 NBA draft, 100th pick overall, by the Denver Nuggets.
Grandison played in the NBA intermittently in altogether 4 seasons, for five teams: Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks, averaging 2.4 points per game. He was known primarily as a hard working player and a defensive specialist.
His daughter, Ronni, is currently a member of the UMass women's basketball team.
