Shane Andre Mosley A.K.A "Sugar" Shane Mosley is a retired American professional boxer from Pomona, California. Shane Mosley has held world titles in three weight divisions, having held the IBF lightweight title, Lineal, WBC, & WBA welterweight titles, and Lineal, WBC, WBA, & The Ring light-middleweight titles. In 2000 and 2001 he was The Ring pound for pound best fighter in the world.
Mosley has fought and defeated some of the most recognizable names in the sport, including Oscar De La Hoya, Antonio Margarito, Fernando Vargas, Ricardo Mayorga and many more. He has also gone toe-to-toe with world-renowned boxing champions such as Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Miguel Cotto.
In 1998 Boxing Writers Association of America selected him as ?Fighter of the Year." He was also given the same honor from International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000.
Shane announced his retirement in 2013 but still trains just as hard as ever. Shane currently trains his eldest son, Shane Mosley Jr., who is training to be a world champion boxer one day.
