Description
Ronald "Trousers" Smith was a professional American football defensive back and return specialist in the National Football League. In his 10-year NFL career, Smith played for 5 teams: the Chicago Bears, the Atlanta Falcons, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Diego Chargers, and the Oakland Raiders. He went to the Pro Bowl after the 1972 season as a kick returner.
On June 2, 2013, Smith died in Denver, Colorado after a battle with lung cancer.
