Jay Vidovich is the head men's soccer coach at Wake Forest University. He has served as the school's head soccer coach since 1994, posting an incredible 225-87-31 record during that span, including a 60-7-4 mark over the past three seasons. He is widely considered one of the best men's NCAA soccer coaches in the world right now. His team won the 2007 NCAA championship over Ohio State and finished with a 22-2-1 record. The following season, the Demon Deacons were ranked number 1 for most of the year, before falling in the final four to North Carolina. During the 2009 season, his team fell to the eventual national champion, Virginia Cavaliers.
His teams at Wake Forest have finished in the Top 10 of the final rankings nine out of the past eleven seasons. His teams have won three ACC regular season championships. He is also a three time ACC coach of the year, and has also earned the National coach of the year honor before. From 1986 to 1993, he served as an assistant coach at Wake Forest.
