David Philippe Desrosiers is a French Canadian musician, who is best known as the bassist and backing vocalist for pop punk band Simple Plan. Born in Sept-�les, Desrosiers was raised in Matane, Quebec. In late 1999, he joined Reset to replace current bandmate, lead singer and bassist Pierre Bouvier. He left six months later in early 2000 to join Bouvier's current band, Simple Plan. He has briefly played the drums and bass guitar for bands such as The Used, Vendetta Red, Green Day, Good Charlotte, and MxPx.
