Ed�lson, full name Ed�lson da Silva Ferreira, is a former football player from Brazil. He played as a forward, mainly in the past with SE Palmeiras and Corinthians. In 1998, he received the Bola de Ouro award given to the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro S�rie A. He was dubbed Capetinha, Portuguese for "Little Devil".
He had 21 caps and managed to score 6 goals with the Brazilian national team and won the World Cup in 2002.
