Marcos Roberto Silveira Reis, known simply as Marcos, is a Brazilian former World Cup winning footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played for Palmeiras, of the Sï¿½rie A, since he started playing professional football in 1992 until his retirement in January 2012, and has since become one of its greatest idols, being nicknamed "Sï¿½o Marcos". He was the main goalkeeper of the champion Brazilian squad of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
