James R. Dardar is an American former professional football player. Dardar played one season for the St. Louis Cardinals of the National Football League in 1984. He attended Cecilia High School in Cecilia, Louisiana and was an All-Southeastern Conference nose guard at Louisiana State University. He was drafted by the Cardinals in 1983. Though he only appeared in NFL games in one season, he spent three years on NFL squads. After his playing career, Dardar was arrested several times. He has been imprisoned in Louisiana for much of his post-NFL life.
