Kenneth Purvis "Ken" MacKenzie is a Canadian former relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played for the Milwaukee Braves, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants, and Houston Astros. MacKenzie is a member of the Yale Class of 1956. While at Yale, MacKenzie lettered in hockey and baseball.
MacKenzie was an original Met, and led the staff with a winning record, 5?4, on a team that lost 120 games in 1962.
Manager Casey Stengel was quoted that MacKenzie was a great kid. "He's a splendid young fella with a great education from Yale University. His signing with us makes him the lowest paid member of the class of Yale '56."
