Description
Lucy Baxley is a politician in the U.S. state of Alabama, who served from 2003 to 2007 as the 28th Lieutenant Governor of her state. In 2006, she was the unsuccessful Democratic nominee for governor. Alabama earlier had a female governor, Lurleen Burns Wallace, and Baxley is the first of two women to have held the state's office of lieutenant governor.
