Susannah Mushatt Jones is an African American supercentenarian who is, at the age of 115 years, 96 days, the oldest living resident of New York, the third oldest living American and is currently the world's fourth oldest living person. She has received tributes from the United States House of Representatives and from the Alabama House of Representatives "for a remarkable lifetime of exceptional achievement lived during three centuries".
