Amerish Babulal "Ami" Bera is an American physician who has been the U.S. Representative for California's 7th congressional district since 2013. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Bera is running for re-election in 2014. His seat is considered one of the most vulnerable in the country. Bera is currently the only Indian American serving in the United States Congress.
