Description
Ruthford Eduardo "Chico" Salmon was a Panamanian Major League Baseball utility player. He played for the Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles, where he appeared in the World Series in 1969, 1970, and 1971. Salmon was also briefly with the Seattle Pilots, who had selected him during the expansion draft following the 1968 season, but was traded to Baltimore in 1969 during spring training. In his career, he played every position except pitcher and catcher, including at least 50 games at six different positions.
