Gerald Earl Gillum better known by his stage name G-Eazy, is an American rapper, songwriter and producer from Oakland, California. Eazy has released six mixtapes and 3 EPs, before releasing his debut studio album These Things Happen. Eazy released his first mixtape in 2007, while attending Loyola University of New Orleans. Eazy's mixtapes have spawned viral singles including "Runaround Sue" & "Been On", which both have garnered over three million views on YouTube. His 2014 album These Things Happen peaked at number one on various charts, including a peak at number three on Billboard's Hot 100. In July 2014, G-Eazy was placed on MTV's Artist To Watch, following a successful worldwide sold-out tour and his top selling debut album.
