Shaquille Green-Thompson, is an American football linebacker and defensive back. He currently attends the University of Washington. A native of Sacramento, California, Thompson attended Grant Union High School. Thompson came into his freshman year as the no. 1 safety in the nation, the no. 4 overall recruit in the nation and was ranked 16th in the ESPNU 150. He committed to the University of Washington on January 31, 2012. Also a talented sprinter, Thompson specialized in the 200 meters. He finished fifth in the 200 metres at the 2010 CIF State Track and Field Championships. At the 2011 CIF State Track and Field Championships, he placed seventh in the 200 metres, in a race dominated by defending state champion Remontay McClain. He was also a professional baseball player in the Boston Red Sox farm system. He played in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
