Tamsen Fadal is a Lebanese-American television personality, 4-time Emmy awarding winning journalist, author and entrepreneur who is the 5pm and 10pm anchor on the WPIX News, Tribune's flagship station in New York City. Previously, she anchored the PIX11 Morning News and a lifestyle segment called Totally Tamsen for WPIX in New York City. Fadal is the host of the nationally syndicated show about Broadway, Broadway Profiles. Fadal, is the co-author of the books, Why Hasn't He Called?, published by McGraw-Hill; her second book, Why Hasn't He Proposed?, was published in January 2009. She was awarded 3 Emmys in 2014 including one for On-Camera Achievement from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Political News Special "Remembering Ed Koch" and Outstanding News Coverage at PIX11 News as well as an Emmy in 2005 for her work as an Investigative Reporter. Fadal is active with breast cancer awareness organizations having lost her mother to the disease when she was young. She also serves on the Shining Service Worldwide Advisory Board helping returning women veterans and their children in New York.
