Rosalind Harris is an American actress who played Tzeitel, the oldest daughter of Tevye, and his wife Golde, in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof in 1971. She also starred as Tzeitel on Broadway, having replaced Bette Midler. Nearly twenty years after the film, in an ironic twist, Harris played the mother, Golde in a National Tour revival starring opposite Topol, as his wife. Harris also had an extensive theatre career, having performed in leading roles in many musicals Off Broadway.
