Description
Tyler Bates is a music producer and composer for films, TV and video games. His most recent work includes James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy which has become the highest grossing movie of 2014. This is Bates's third movie with Gunn after completing the score for Slither & Super.
Bate's is also well known for his work on Rob Zombie's Halloween, Halloween II, The Devil's Rejects, Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch; Neil Marshall's Doomsday, See No Evil & Ti West's The Sacrament.
In 2011 he scored Emilio Estevez's The Way, William Friedkin's Killer Joe, Marcus Nispel's Conan the Barbarian& Chris Gorak's The Darkest Hour.
During 2014 Bates's worked with Marilyn Manson on the opening title song "Cupid Carries a Gun" for his TV show on WGN America, Salem. He later joined Manson on his european tour as the lead guitarist.
Tyler Bates composed the soundtrack for the PlayStation 3 game, God of War: Ascension, Army of Two: The 40th Day as well as the Playstation 4 game Killzone: Shadowfall. [More at Wikipedia]
