Richard John Hounslow is a British slalom canoeist who has competed in the K-1 category since the late 1990s. Since 2009 he has also been competing in C-2 alongside David Florence. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he competed in the K-1 event as well as the C-2 event where he won the silver medal. Hounslow won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold, a silver and five bronzes. He also won 7 medals at the European Championships. In 2012, Richard Hounslow won the C2 gold at the World Cup race in Cardiff along with David Florence.
