Description
Takashi Yanase was a Japanese writer, poet, illustrator and lyricist. He was best known as the creator of the manga and anime series Anpanman. The character of Anpanman, like many manga heroes, is popular with children and is found on numerous products in Japan. Yanase was chairman of the Japan Cartoonists Association from May 2000 to 2012.
