Marco Amelia, Ufficiale OMRI is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
He won a Bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics when Italy beat an heroic Iraq side in the 3rd place playoff, and earned 9 senior caps for Italy between 2005 and 2009. He was part of the squad that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup, and was also included for Euro 2008.
