Randy Rigby, starting with the National Basketball Association's Utah Jazz in 1986, currently serves as president and chief operating officer of the Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment Group. In this capacity, Rigby sets the strategic goals for the organization and analyzes future growth opportunities. He also sits on the advisory board for the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies and is a member of the NBA Team Advisory Committee.
Rigby previously served as senior vice president of sales, broadcasting and chief marketing officer for Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, in addition to General Manager of KJZZ-TV. Rigby came to the Jazz from CFS Financial Corporation where he worked for three years as senior vice president.
Rigby is a 1979 graduate of Brigham Young University, where he earned a degree in business management with a special emphasis in finance and marketing. He serves on various boards in the Salt Lake area which include the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Alliance, Utah Chapter of the American Lung Association, Salt Lake City Police Foundation, Junior Achievement, Rising Star Outreach and the Hale Centre Theatre?s Board of Trustees.
