Description
Scott James Wootton is an English footballer who plays for Leeds United. Although he primarily plays as a centre-back, he can play anywhere across the back line. Born in Birkenhead, Borough of Wirral, Wootton began his career with Tranmere Rovers before joining Liverpool at the age of 13. In 2007, he joined Manchester United, making his way through the youth system there before finally making it to the first-team in 2010; however, he was unable to get regular first-team football there and went out on loan to Tranmere, Peterborough United and Nottingham Forest before signing for Leeds in 2013. He is also a former England U17 international.
