Description
Robert Adams is an American photographer who has focused on the changing landscape of the American West. His work first came to prominence in the mid-1970s through the book The New West and the exhibition New Topographics: Photographs of a Man-Altered Landscape. He twice received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a MacArthur Fellowship and won the Deutsche B�rse Photography Prize and Hasselblad Award.
He is represented by the Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco and the Matthew Marks Gallery in New York.
