Jair Lynch is an American gymnast who won a silver medal in the parallel bars at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He had an innovative and polished style that stood out for an American gymnast. Lynch attended Stanford University, where he was a member of Stanford's 1992 and 1993 NCAA Men's Gymnastics championship teams, coached by Sadao Hamada and David Juszczyk. He also competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics, finishing sixth in the parallel bar competition. During his competitive years, he was highly active in community outreach, working with the local Juvenile detention center to help motivate problem teenagers.{http://www.usghof.org/files/bio/j_lynch/j_lynch.html} In his youth, Lynch trained under the direction of coach Rick Tucker at Gymnastics Plus in Columbia, Maryland. In 1997, following his athletic career, he founded a real estate development company now known as JAIR LYNCH Development Partners, with projects throughout Washington, DC.
