Description
Christer Abrahamsson, also known as Christer Abris, is a Swedish former ice hockey goaltender and coach.
Abrahamsson played for Leksands IF from 1965?74 and 1977?82, and for the World Hockey Association's New England Whalers from 1974?77. He also played for the Swedish national team in the IIHF World Championships five times, and in the 1972 Winter Olympics. He was named Swedish Player of the Year in 1973?74.
His twin brother Thommy Abrahamsson also played ice hockey, as a defenceman.
