Robert Rodin is an American Internet visionary, business executive and writer. He is the chairman and CEO of RDN Group, a strategic advisory firm. Rodin previously served as CEO and president of Marshall Industries, a global industrial electronics distributor, from 1992 until 1999, when it was acquired by Avnet, Inc. During his time as the chief executive at Marshall, he re-engineered the firm's compensation structure and corporate culture, disproving the notion that the Internet would kill the distribution business. Rodin is also the author of Free, Perfect and Now: Connecting to the Three Insatiable Customer Demands, published by Simon & Schuster in 1999.
