Description
Calvin Pickard is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League. Pickard was drafted by the Avalanche in the second round of the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He played his junior hockey with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. His older brother, Chet, also a goaltender, was drafted in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators.
