Description
Marcel Gery is a former international butterfly swimmer, who was born in Czechoslovakia and competed for the Czechoslovak Republic. Later emigrated to Canada and competed for this country at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. There he won the bronze medal with the men's 4�100 m medley relay team, alongside Mark Tewksbury, Jonathan Cleveland, and Stephen Clarke.
At the 1985 Summer Universiade, Gery won a bronze medal in the 200-metre freestyle.
