Jacques Myard is a member of the National Assembly of France. He represents the Yvelines department, and is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement. Myard made international news when on July 17, 2012, just days before the vote on a new national sexual harassment bill, male lawmakers in the National Assembly including Myard hooted and made catcalls as Housing Minister C�cile Duflot, wearing a floral dress, spoke about an architecture project. Myard told L'Express that the hoots were a way of "paying homage to this woman's beauty."
