Dagmar Gabriele W�hrl, born as Winkler is a German politician with the CSU. She is the wife of the German CEO Hans Rudolf W�hrl. In 1994, 1998, 2002, 2005 and 2005, W�hrl was elected to the German Bundestag, representing Nuremberg North. Since 2005 she has served as parliamentary Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. As Dagmar Gabriele Winkler, she represented Germany in various beauty pageants: the 1973 Miss Universe beauty pageant where she did not place; the July 1977 Miss International beauty pageant where she placed as 1st runner-up; the November 1977 Miss World beauty pageant where she placed as 2nd runner-up; the 1977 Miss Europe beauty pageant where she placed as 1st runner-up. She was called "Miss Bundestag" when she joined the Bundestag in 1994. In 2001 she was in the media after her younger son Emanuel died because of an accident. Her older son Marcus ran for the European Parliament in 2004.
