Mark Allen Baker, is a former business executive, and American author, historian, and writer of hundreds of articles and 18 books[1].
Born in Binghamton, New York and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia and central New York, Baker earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Oswego. His first book, Baseball Autograph Handbook, addressed the growing interest in the sport of baseball and its artifacts; Baker has since written over a dozen more nonfiction titles on such topics as boxing, music, basketball and American history.
Expertise in the area of historic manuscripts and artifacts has enhanced his passion for history and is exhibited in many of his earlier books - publications that center around both sports and music. Baker's later work has placed a greater emphasis on regional events and investigative research. While passionate about his primary subjects, the author has also written many articles in the areas of antiques, art, entertainers, computer graphics, finance, and forensic science.
