Since bursting onto the New York City comedy scene in 2004, Erik Rivera's name has become synonymous with comedy. His boy next door good looks and unique perspective make him one of New York's fastest rising young comedians. His quick wit, along with his commanding stage presence, charisma, and infectious smile make him a favorite act at comedy clubs and colleges throughout the country. Rivera is one of the most requested comedians on both coasts. When in New York, he can be found nightly at the Comedy Cellar, Comic Strip Live, Carolines, and the Gotham Comedy Club. In Los Angeles, he calls the Laugh Factory, the Ice House, and the Improv his comedy homes. Rivera?s star is quickly rising! Recently, Eva Longoria's production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, took notice of Rivera's talent and approached him about producing a sitcom based on his comedy. LATV?s, which highlights accomplished Latinos in the community, features him this season as they document his rise to fame. Rivera is a familiar face all over several cable networks, as he has appeared numerous times on MTV Tr3s, Comedy Central, and most recently, on Si TV?s . Rivera also starred in the feature film, along with Caroline Rhea, released in theaters across the country. In addition, he was selected to host their Latino film series.
