Description
Douglas McArthur Jarvis is a former Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals and Hartford Whalers in the National Hockey League, who holds the current record for most consecutive games played in the NHL. Jarvis never missed a regular season game in his NHL career, which began on October 8, 1975 and ran until 1987. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.
