Description
Martin "Mascht" Koch is a retired ski jumper from Austria.
Martin started his career in 1999, he has finished in the Top 3 in all ski jumping events eighteen times, including two victories with the first being on January 8, 2011 in Harrachov. Furthermore, he won a silver medal at the 2008 Ski-Flying World Championships, and six gold medals in team events at Olympic Games and world championships. He did his last jump on 22 March in Planica, Slovenia but on the large hill, not the flying one.
He was the holder of the Austrian national record with a jump of 241.5 metres.
Koch is the nephew of Armin Kogler.
